Timber: Made from Radiata Pine, machined to an exceptionally smooth finish, with no risk of splinters. All timber to be treated. All our timber is from sustainable managed forests and we have a chain of custody certificate. We use timber as it is more environmentally friendly and provides a more natural environment to allow the children to have active and imaginative play while developing motor skills and dexterity.

Combination Wire rope: 6-strand wire rope made for playground equipment. Galvanised steel wire covered with PP multi, in a range of colours. 16mm dia. Min breaking load; 3.3 tons.

Plastic Eggs: Wire ropes joined with plastic eggs and "T" junctions. With stainless steel screws.

Stainless steel clips: Used to join wire ropes, and alloy ferrules on "T" junctions and were a special end connector is required. Pressed on with our 150-ton hydraulic press.

Rope: 16mm dia' PP rope is used which has been treated for UV resistance. 3 strand yarn construction.

Climbing ropes: 24mm nylon rope is used. With splices and knots as required.

Nuts and Bolts: All zinc sprayed, and nuts covered with plastic caps.

Safety Surface: All surfaces are to BS standards.
Fall heights are also important and full regard is taken to industry recommendations.

Ground anchors: Ground anchors, zinc sprayed, to be fitted to 100mm/120mm and 150mm poles were needed.

Other components: All components are classed "tested" where possible, where not, we use only the best available.

Maintenance: Instructions for use will be supplied and details regarding maintenance.

European Standards: EN1176 "Playground Equipment Standard" and EN1177 "Impact absorbing playground surfacing" are standards established throughout Europe.
These regulate the technical requirements in play equipment, their technical construction, inspection and maintenance.
All our equipment complies with these standards.
